Workshops on quality in adverse drug reaction reporting

The Medicines Authority is organizing a series of short workshops for doctors on how to improve the quality of information submitted in adverse drug reaction (ADR) reports. A networking reception will follow.

This event is being held in collaboration with the Malta College of Family Doctors (MCFD) and participation in these seminars is CPD accredited. MCFD members will be accredited 1 CPD point. This event is also being held in collaboration with the Gozo Medical Association (GMA) and participating GMA members will be accredited.

The objective of this short workshop is to improve the overall pharmacovigilance system in Malta and to further facilitate the rapid and scientific identification of post-marketing safety issues.

After the seminar a certificate of participation will be issued to attending doctors by the Medicines Authority in line with the Authority’s quality system that is ISO 9001:2015 compliant.
