Update in Fees of the Medicines Authority

Revised fees of all relevant services provided by the Medicines Authority have come into effect as from 21 October 2025 by means of Legal Notice 254 of 2025.

The revised fees have been carefully considered to reflect current market conditions and the evolving needs of our stakeholders. The revised fees are designed to support our efforts and good quality service and innovation, invest resources towards continuous improvement and amend our structures to meet the evolving needs.

Stakeholders are advised to note the revised fees and ensure that applications are accompanied by the relevant fee, in accordance with the provisions set out in Legal Notice 254 of 2025.

Kindly note the annual fees in line with Legal Notice 254 of 2025 shall be levied for:

Medicinal product/s and product notification/s applications with an effective date falling on or after 21 October 2025;
Pharmacies, Wholesale dealers, Importers, Manufacturers, Brokers, APIs, Qualified persons, MDRP, Notified bodies, Distributors and Authorised Representatives as effective from 1 January 2026.
